Who we are …
The North Lakes Community Council (NLCC) is one of several community councils set up in the Matanuska Susitna Borough.
We are a non-profit, non-governmental entity established to serve our local community as a communications link with local government.
We administer a Community Grant program, dispersing State funds to other non-profits, organizations, and individuals that serve to improve the quality of life for our residents.

Membership:
There are approximately 10,000 residents within the NLCC boundaries.
We currently have just over 50 voting “Members”, representing their neighborhoods on important issues.
We strive to keep area residents informed and provide a consolidated voice back to the Borough and State government. Active membership makes the difference!
There is no annual dues.
